Actor/Writer
Hello, Hello, Hello!
My name is Jason Keane and I'm a Connecticut based actor with a degree in Theatre Performance from Western Connecticut State University. In my three and a half years there, I studied Performance Techniques, Character Studies, Period Styles, Acting for the Camera, and Devised Theatre/Improvisation; and also performed in shows by Tennessee Williams, Brian Friel, Christopher Durang, William Shakespeare, Tom Stoppard, and Anton Chekhov.

What?... More?...Um, okay, let me think... I'm a writer, well, not published, but I have a few unfinished Google Docs that I think are Pulitzer worthy. I've... I've got a car, if that's an issue you run into a lot... actors without transportation... I can sing, kinda, like I'm no Audra McDonald but if you put some Carly Rae Jepsen on a karaoke machine, after my second Long Island iced tea I'll tear the roof off any place. OH! I can burp on command!... Is that good?

One of my original pieces is being produced!
4/10/2019
I've always written plays or stories in my spare time, but I never really wanted to show anyone my work. However, there was always one piece that I really loved telling people about, and that's a short play called, "The Whole Moon" after describing it to a friend at school, she immediately wanted to do it.

I'm happy to say that my first original piece will be performed in the Spring One Act Festival. I'm so excited for people to see my work brought to life by my brilliant friend Shelby Macchi.

More updates to come, stay tuned!
